OcTober 2007-Michigan

This is one of Keegan's sweetest friends ever.  I am so

happy because Keegan will get to continue this 

friendship in the summer...as we are headed back to michigan

for the bulk of this summer...and hopefully EVERY summer

while we reside in FL.

My best friend Amy and I became friends during the summer 

at a swim club a LONG time ago 

and AMY is this beauties mommy.

How cool is that???  

Now for those opposing the new Barbie you may not

this is my future tattoo artist.....perhaps she will get it

all out of her system now???

and I have resolved some feeding

issues and has decided to nap a bit longer than

4 minutes at a time.

Papa's pool.....

Meeting

Piper.

Brad's parents arrived from Montana to meet 

our adorable daughter.

Piper loved them in an instant, showering them

with smiles and spit-up.

Now what would be more fun than going for

a walk/riding a tricycle with your grandparents?

Why attempting to run mommy over

with said tricycle-repeatedly!

After escaping tricycle-induced injury I was lucky

to grab this shot..

Our close friends from michigan drove down to see

us this week....OK Mickey was really who they came

to see but we were a bonus!

The kids had a great time with them in the pool

and promptly devoured a whole bag of doritoes!

Our kiddos had a great time playing with their cousins, Papa

and Uncle Gary in the pool on President's Day.

The little ones met for the first time

but they became fast friends....and partners

in crime;)

Fun around here.

No offense to my northern friends 

but I am not sure I could survive many snow days

with my gang cooped up in the house.

These kiddos have sooooooooooo much

energy that NEEDs a release.

They have been into their tennis and Brady just completed his

Seriously?

It's been one month since

i last sat down at my computer??

Well I have missed it a bit

but LOVED bonding with Piper.

LOVED IT.

So have the older kiddos.

Piper is a wonderful baby.

though she looks fussy in this picture

she is adorably patient most of the time.

And though we adore our Piper....the other kiddos 

continue to amaze and humor us always.

Pretty sure we still haven't mopped up the 

damage created below!!!

no doubt these two will have a special bond

Right now, Bai can't get enough of her little sis...

and so far Piper has tolerated all the kisses

when she is napping, 

the hugs that may have a little extra "hug" to them

and the overabundance of attention while

she is trying to nurse.

Am incredibly excited to watch this relationship grow.

Bailey is super revved up with excited juice

Brady is sweet, loving, and gentle...telling me he

is going to teach her to talk tomorrow.

Bai has melted down by now several times and is off 

on a quest to find ice cream with aunt Hopey while the 

big kids tolerate the first of many photo-shoots;)

Sleep around here....

Just getting to posting these first few pics of our beautiful

daughter from the hospital.

Piper Raine McCollom was born on Dec 30th.

She is a whopping 10 lbs 3 oz. (not a type-o there)

She is incredibly loved by all....

and we couldn't be any more ecstatic to welcome her

in our family.

No little one yet...

As much as I am looking forward to meeting

this extreme kicking machine, I am enjoying time

with family and soaking up all the moments I can before life changes.

My good Friend and photography partner Kara

took me to the beach the other day and got some GREAT shots

of my belly.

not anticipating that swimming would be their next request.

But it was a go with the flow day....

soooo swimming and picnic lunch with aunt hopey it is.

the pool was FREEZING.

did it stop them.

NOPE.

well, a little bit;)

It was a super great day.

this random tidbit was Brady taking a picture of my 

belly on Tuesday.

He had an appointment and stayed home with me.

he got to vote and have some dedicated mommy time.

Muddy Sunday

So.

Last Sunday the kiddos needed some 

OUTSIDE time.

Problem:  another rain-ey drizzley day.

Solution:  tree covered park and an 

attitude of who cares how messy they get. 

note Keeg's tush which shows not only dirt but rust stains.

update: shirt still has rust stains.

Bai are you sweet or sassy today?

SASSY.

Bai is caught taunting a 7 year old girl on the playset.

"what is your name"

girl-"julia" 

"I don't like you Julia"

"you are a potty-head"

after redirecting Bailey, trying to get her to acknowledge

that she was not making a good choice, etc.

my response to Julia was "she is 2 and should be taking a nap; sorry"

Julia later catches a lizard and becomes Bai's best friend.

man the kids had a blast and I was so glad we decided to 

go to the park anyway.
