Family Time

One of my BESTesT friends asked me to take

some family photos for her....

Then they Patiently WAITED while I tried to find

a morsel of time to edit a few....

Can't wait to meet their new edition soon...and take even more

photos--that they will likely have to wait for;)...at least

I'm consistent!

Surf-Surf-Surf

Had an A.Mazing beach day with my sis and chillins

last weekend.

I had this great idea to attempt to surf.....

and I.LOVED.IT!!

This pretty much sums up the day;)

Lots of little waves

a couple wipe-outs

Tons of smiles and laughter

adventurous kidd-os

great friends (anna and jonny were there, too!)

some mad boogie boarding

Successfully standing up on surf boards....briefly;)

drip sand castles

sea shell "cakes"

and LOTs of 

GOOD TIMEs.

Celebrating Bai's birthday and Brenda & Johns anniversary.

Watching my girl in a go-cart speed like a race car driver.

Having Cousins bond;  having Bai pester said cousins.

Watching Keeg and Abby become the best of friends.

Attempting a family picture in a Mosquito-infested Park.

Getting Pipe baptized.

Cleaning up after Pipe...one blow-out at a time

We will refrain from commenting on the actual Flights...

Back from Montana

Seriously.

Brad is from rural Montana and we just trekked there

to visit family.

While only a zillion photos could adequately sum up the trip,

here are a few highlights:

Random catch-up

Took Piper on her first flight and she 

was a GREAT traveler...seriously.

Everyone was amazed how well she did;)

Reason for travel was to attend a scrapbook convention with my

sis-- the last one we will attend for awhile since she is

having twins this summer;)

Upon our arrival home, I think the kids were more excited

to see Piper than me!

While Keeg was at a playdate, Brady and Bai checked out

a firetruck.  Our wonderful subdivision hosted a block party

and had our local sheriff and firefighters in attendance.

looking forward to going to Montana soon!!

Surf's UP!!

This is Keeg.

Once she sets her mind to something she usually succeeds.

My sis took the kids to the beach yesterday.

Keeg got bored on the skim board.

She "surfed" on her tummy on her first try.

Then she started standing up without hesitation.

"mom, I need my own surf board now"

I am both amazed and proud of this girl.

***note to grandparents**

It is super shallow there and Uncle Jonny was right beside her!!

I LOVE BABIES

Especially ones that create even more laundry

for me.....hehe

This little guy could not be ANY sweeter....

Very alert...and cooperative;)

Betcha you thought he would be talking by the time I got 

to edit these!

Soooo much

fun I had to make multiple collages to capture it all!!

Never before has someone demonstrated the art

of tickling themselves...she laughed more than I did

but only because I had to hold the camera steady to

capture it!

The next few scream adorable;  don't say I didn't warn you!

First year.

super fast at times.

As well as super sweet

and kind...

Beaming with happiness

and silliness

and spunk.

He talks with this silly voice-alternating between Donald

Duck and Darth Vader which is not easy to master.

He whistles constantly

Always in motion

Nearly always with a SMILE on his face

or in quieter moments, a thumb in his mouth.

He is addicted to sippy cups and all things

rough and tumble

but is sweet to the core

just like his Daddy (well Brad isn't into

sippy cups but you know what I mean)

here I should insert daddy son photo....got to

get me a recent one of those;)

HAPPY WEEKEND

and zillions of fun, beautiful, whimsicle, ADORABLE

curious, and just plain goofy photos of these two.

their expressions.  Their dad was sooooo good 

with them...pointing out Banyan trees as he fixes a barrette!

All Bride;)

A couple sneak peeks of the elegance and

beauty I captured a couple weeks ago.

(You could tell this father of the bride adores his little girl)

Will have to keep the rest of the photos top secret until

I am finished...hehe!

Blue Eyes

No shortage of them here....

This little girl has these great eyes that dance and 

sparkle when she is happy/entertained/has a full belly/is peeing 

on me/is grabbing toys off her baby dangle-y gym thing/

is swimming in the tub/or is pulling a sibling's hair....

AND are equally expressive when she is screaming with

those vocal cords that make her nickname "pipes" so

appropriate. (really need to grab the camera for that shot, too)

ANyway, She is lovin those hands lately...and slobbering up a storm.

And did I mention she flirts with me at 3 am?  Could 

we not be giggle-y and baby talk-y at 3 am?? Please save

it for daylight...but of course I cave and talk back a little

she is so darned cute even at 3.  Ugh!

Her big sis has been more interested in her lately...

developing a nack for entertaining her just a bit longer

so I can squeeze a little more multi-tasking before having 

to pick her up.

And these eyes....man.  

They dance when she is doing gymnastics/creating art

giving her sister "lessons"/doing some self-directed 

house work/swimming/playing with Aunt Hopey 

or her DADDY(which typically involves some

crazy hyper fun game) or reading to her siblings

during our nightly "one-on-one" ritual.

I have a feeling these two girls are going to have

a lot in common;  much more than their blue eyes.

This Guy

is making his First Communion on Saturday.

He LOVES his mom, making me think a gecko is

on my head, his puppy Daisy, and his little sis...

pretty much in that order;)

ADORABLE sister could not be any sweeter or more helpful.

And just one of the MANY MANY giggles we had today.

for the Paw....and she nearly had it, too.

Kids had a great time at the mall.  Until the

meltdowns started, I did, too!

Nice to get out of the house!

How to dye Eggs

First grandma helps fill cups and drop

in the appropriate colored tablets....most

of the time;)

Next up is raiding Daddy's closet so 

OUR clothes don't get "washable" dye (that

stays on your skin for 2 weeks) on them

check.

now we make sure Papa has the baby so we aren't

dipping eggs to the tune of "man she has lungs!"

whew....nap time;)

And finally eggs are distributed to some anxious artists.

Overheard from littlest artist "now do i put my fingers 

in the cups?  do i drink it?  are they done?  i made

a really great green one!"

But man, does she look adorable
