5

The last family collage with
only 5 of us...

No little one yet...
As much as I am looking forward to meeting
this extreme kicking machine, I am enjoying time
with family and soaking up all the moments I can before life changes.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Ready to pop

My good Friend and photography partner Kara
took me to the beach the other day and got some GREAT shots
of my belly.

This is me.
Biggety-big.

I am sooo looking forward to meeting this little one.
I think the kids are, too.
Both Brady and Bailey have volunteered REPEATEDLY to
open the baby's presents...if that isn't love;)

be well.

Yep

November in Florida sometimes means
pool splashing contests.

The kids had a GREAT time hangin in the pool with
their aunt and uncle from Montana.

wishing you a safe trip back home;)

The latest

technique in tennis:

note the wiggle at the end, too!

after the park

The kids were a mess.
totally trashed
(see previous entry)

So we head to papa & grandmas to rinse them off and grab some fresh clothes...
not anticipating that swimming would be their next request.

But it was a go with the flow day....
soooo swimming and picnic lunch with aunt hopey it is.

the pool was FREEZING.
did it stop them.
NOPE.
well, a little bit;)

It was a super great day.

this random tidbit was Brady taking a picture of my
belly on Tuesday.
He had an appointment and stayed home with me.
he got to vote and have some dedicated mommy time.

another wonderful day spent running errands and hangin out.
more pics from the day later!

Muddy Sunday

So.

Last Sunday the kiddos needed some
OUTSIDE time.

Problem:  another rain-ey drizzley day.

Solution:  tree covered park and an
attitude of who cares how messy they get.

note Keeg's tush which shows not only dirt but rust stains.
update: shirt still has rust stains.
this is Bai.
Bai are you sweet or sassy today?
SASSY.
Bai is caught taunting a 7 year old girl on the playset.

"what is your name"
girl-"julia"
"I don't like you Julia"
"you are a potty-head"

after redirecting Bailey, trying to get her to acknowledge
that she was not making a good choice, etc.
my response to Julia was "she is 2 and should be taking a nap; sorry"

Julia later catches a lizard and becomes Bai's best friend.

man the kids had a blast and I was so glad we decided to
go to the park anyway.

Trick

or treat!!!

While Brad & my sis finish taking the rugrats out
I get to post some pictures of the highly sugar-charged!!

After a freak mini thunderstorm, kisses & chases from
2 clever puppies, and a near B&E charge (if
you don't answer the door fast enough, Brady lets himself
in)  I abandoned the crew to pass out candy.

good times, friends.

Happy Halloween!!

the further emerging

of Miss Bai's personality.

This is her crashing the big kids tennis lessons:

exhibit #2:
perpetual Daddy's girl

exhibit #3:
fashionable and sweet

This kid is a blast.

Been having so much fun with her lately.
Daddy has been takin the "big kids" to lots of
events for older friends..
so I have gotten extra munchkin time with her.

Lovin it!

Man

These kiddos are gettin bigger

and
AT TIMES

much closer.

pretty cool to watch.

This one, though,
is getting so mature.
so nurturing.
so sensitive...
at that difficult age
of gaining some independence
but yearning for some security
and guidance.....
while wanting less direction
and more freedoms...

but simultaneously conflicted by
those freedoms.

great stuff.

Cool Kids

must have gotten it from their parents
because this family was so loving
and F.U.N. (with a capital F)!!!

The girls both play lacrosse (how cool is that!)
and you can tell that both parents adore them.

Despite dad's teasing and mom's contagious laughter,
I caught a couple sweet moments as well.

Really enjoyed running around with these guys....
am going to be so bummed when I have to hang up the
camera soon to get ready for baby #4......

YES we all know the camera will be put to good use
capturing all the pieces and parts of this new little one
(man we have to start thinking of names soon!!)
but I will miss my clients for several months while we
adapt and grow as a family.

Taking one last trip to see my sis tomorrow.
Promise to answer all client needs when I return on the 20th.

be well!!

Little Guy

My subjects aren't normally this green....
That is why I handed the camera to Keegan
this morning because she and Bailey were FASCINATED
by this little tree frog.

And despite all Bai's squeals and eventually
banging on the window-this guy didn't budge.

And just to add to this random post,
this is Bai moments ago after discovering the new
helmet that Keegan picked out for her last week.

I grabbed the point and shoot and couldn't resist:)

Wish you could all see how she is walking all silly-straight-leggged
because the knee and elbow pads are sooo tight.

Yep

These are my girlz....

The morning went something like this:
Are you getting ready for school???

Yep.

Hair brushed??

Yep.

School clothes on???

Yep.

Shoes and socks on????

silence

Get your shoes & socks on, please....

more silence.

Girls???

Uuuummmmmmm.  We can't.
Our toenails need to dry.

Note:  they both managed to get one foot
in the others photo:)

And these are the outfits they choose for yesterday afternoon.
because everyone needs fashionable fleece hoodies
in 85 degree Florida weather;)

These are my girly girls....

Birthdays Rule

Especially if you are turning 4
AND there is lots of sugar involved;)

Brady had a Pool Party A couple weeks ago...
which one can really only pull off at the end of September
when you live in FLorida!!

Lots of School Friends joined us for swimming

And Cake...
how is that for a stellar home-made cake!!!

mental note...make sure you have enough Twix bars
for EVERY kid to get a piece with one.
DONE.

Adults-suck it up and just sneak one from the pinata later-hehe

At first a boycott on violently hitting
Speed Lightning McQueen

When Candy started spilling out
it wasn't as much of an issue;)

Hmmmm..

Found it funny that i ran across these gems today.

these pics were taken a year ago of my clan enjoying what??
the swings.

love this one of papa swingin with his Bai

and of course Keegan-such a timid girl

such joy.

my kids

love to swing.
they do.
it calms them a bit.

unless of course daddy is there to push them to into the clouds.
then swinging=not so calming
but still a bunch of fun:)

took these photos a couple months ago and just found them

love that i caught them all enjoying themselves
begging for daddy to push them
soaring "to infinity and beyond" so they think

good times

Seriously

Excited.

WE are talking Finding Nemo excited...
First day of school-FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

Brady could not stop giggling.
He was overheard singing, and I quote:

"I am going potty-then I am going to school"

Bailey woke up and immediately said she was going
to see Miss Stephanie today.

Keeg did her hair and choose her matching HS Musical headband;
devoured her Ego waffle and was at the door in record time.

I gotta say I was excited to get some routine back, too.
And was excited that they were so excited.

Happy 2008-09 school year everyone!!!!

GOtta

Love this girl.

Had some quality one-on-one time with
my youngest this weekend.

So i HAD to come up with a silly game
that permitted camera use, right?

This is Bai putting the cap on my lens:
her solution to my photographic enjoyment.

Despite having photo time cut short,
had a really great time with her
giggling
chasing
jumping
devoring lollipops (shhhh)
playing with dolls

and snapping a few more goodies

after i wiped the lollipop off
the lens cap.
